Though American Airlines has no direct flight to Hungary, since 1995, when Tensi Aviation Ltd was assigned to act as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Hungary it has secured a significant presence in the Hungarian market.
 
With service from a number of important and easily accessible European cities (such as Frankfurt, London, Paris, Zurich, Brussels, Rome, Milan) American Airlines offers a quick and comfortable connection to the US gateways and via them, to almost any point of the American continent.
 
Due to its exceptionally extensive network, AA’s passengers can reach 250 cities in 40 countries with one of the 3400 flights that depart each day. AA’s hubs are Dallas Fort Worth, Chicago, Miami.
 
American Airlines is the founding member of oneworld®, a global alliance that brings together eleven of the world's biggest and best airlines. Oneworld has an incomparable route network, serving almost 700 destinations in nearly 150 countries. It is the only alliance with a member in South America, in Australia or in Asia’s Middle East. AA was the first to open a VIP lounge to honour it’s customers; the original Admirals Club shared a space in the just-opened New York LaGuardia Airport with Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia in 1939.

  • South African Airways launches flights to Kigali (Rwanda) and Bujumbura (Burundi)

    SAA launched flights to two more destinations on the African continent today, adding Kigali in Rwanda and Bujumbura in Burundi as further travel options. This is in keeping with the airline's Africa growth plans.
